rosemary
Colleague brought in bunches of curry leaves and other herbs from his garden. Such delights.
I put some Thai basil leaves into my cup and pour in hot boiling water. The infusion tasted so good-it was so refreshing. The past one two years saw rosemary, basil, sage plants on sale in the local stores. I guess local palates had changed; more are travelling nowadays and being influenced by foreign food in their travels. There are plenty of restaurants offering international cuisines here. French, Mexican, Indian, Malay, Chinese, Nyonya, Western, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Myanmar, Arabian food calling out all over Kuala Lumpur. It would be hard to ignore food here - to be trim, one really has to lock oneself up for a month indoors....sigh.....I went from size S to XXL or XL or L depending upon the clothes manufacturers. Somehow I was never cheated into a size S - I am sure one would make millions fitting fat ladies into size S labels. Is that the reason why overseas manufacturers put their sizes in numericals instead of alphabeticals? They do look less daunting!
Final thought-hearsay that plants do well when being sung over. What about an off-key song.....hmmm.....would they know?
