Eid ul-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر ‘Īdu l-Fiṭr‎)

Hub was invited to a gathering of classmates of 20 years.  Cikgu (teacher in Malay language) was celebrating Hari Raya (aka Eid ul-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر ‘Īdu l-Fiṭr‎).  It was so funny, past students of hers who walked through her door had to identify himself/herself via a class photo in her hands.  Cikgu still looks pretty.  It was a joy for all to see each other after a long 20 years.  Most classmates turned up with spouse and children.  They were in one spirit - to celebrate friendship irregardless of race and religion.  1 Malaysia!

Cikgu was a great hostess.  Food was served in beautiful containers.  Green plants adorned her porch and little children took delight in a swing. The weather was forgiving, having rained earlier. Being always intrigued by plants, I looked over cikgu's green babies.  Lo and behold, saw this big cactus plant flowering (pic above).

Thanks cikgu for the invitation and a walking down the memory lane for all your students .........
