Isn't she adorable? Such faithfulness and selflessness. I drove off in the rain and she followed on. When my other dogs decide to roam the streets, she stays behind to look after the house. Seeing us back would send her tremendous joy and her tail would be busy wagging. She would be given up for adoption soon and I do hope her new owner would be a kind one .....
Years ago, an orphan told that there are people who adopt to get 'free servants' (orphan made to work hard in a home in return for shelter and meals). Isn't there a screening process and followup on the child's progress after leaving orphanage to prevent this 'human trafficking'? Yet I have seen adopted children who were placed in loving homes and they thrive in that environment, blossoming into their full potential.
Parenting do calls for the balance of discipline and unconditional loving ....
