Visited this food eatery during the Chinese New Year when I was back in Ipoh. The whole place was crowded. Waited for a table for 40 minutes and then only can we place order. The food came in 40 minutes time after we were seated. Total waiting time of 1 hour 20 minutes. Lesson learnt - better eat mom's cooking during the holidays ......
I marveled at the chief cooks - they were unaffected by all the busyness of the night and the hungry and inpatient customers. What do they sell? Well, it is the famous Ipoh Hainanese chicken with taugeh (bean sprouts).
Would I go back again? Yes, only on non-holidays.
