Kept hearing the mewing of a cat this afternoon at the office.   The sky was darkening promising rain.  Fearing the cat would be drenched, I went out looking for the fella.  In the end, all turned out well as the cat was trying to get attention near a window.

The cat reminded me of old dog Skippy which had since died.  Skippy in her old age was quite blind and always would fall  into the drain.  There was a time Skippy kept walking and ended up into the monsoon drain.  Poor hub had to climb in to rescue.  My heart really goes for Skippy-she deserved good treatment for all her years of faithful companionship.  The show Ten Promises I Made To My Dog tells it so well - do catch the  show if you have not seen it.  Warning - you may cry ....
