Dim sum at Cheng Ho Court

 yam puff

Restaurant Cheng Ho

I had lunch with a friend at Cheng Ho Court recently.  It was a Chinese restaurant in Mines Resort Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.  The food was superb - fresh and tasty.  When I was there, the restaurant was short handed of staff, needing one to be patient and a little bit of D-I-Y needed.  Other than that, one has no cause to complain.

Though being a halal restaurant (no pork served), the dim sum's texture is good - our order of 'siu mai' sent me to gastronomic paradise.  The yam puff (see pic above) was dainty and fluffy.  Main course was a dish of fried noodles with slices of fish.

As one eat and enjoy a meal over a pot of green tea, in the quietness of the restaurant, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the ambience of serenity will envelope you.  Pricing is a little steep but that is the norm of a hotel's restaurant.

Definitely a good place to entertain your Muslim clients/friends!
