As my trip to Australia is drawing near, I had better get packing. Hmmm....it would be nice to have a little picnic in the park (hope there's one....). Indeed it would be nice to have lamingtons and coffee and to rest one's feet on Australia soil. It will be spring.
I remembered many years back, I was in the The Botanical Park of Singapore. The authorities had organised classical performances of Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mozart and a list of others. People came and sat comfortably on the green grass to enjoy the music. It was evening and the gentle breeze blew across the park. Ah....such lovely moments....
I am a dihehard coffee and tea addict. Coffee is good for you - one or two cuppa a day is fine. Tea is anti-oxidant and certainly taste better than just plain water. As such, I decided to take my hot flask, 2 chinese tea cups ( totally against the idea of drinking hot from plastic cups for fear of chemical leaching), serviettes (for spills and cleanups) together with me into Australia. I will be suffering under the exchange rate (AUD1.00 = Ringgit 2.8++). These companions will save me a couple of Aussie dollars and I can have my cuppa at any time of the day. The serviettes and tea cups fits into the plastic container perfectly. (see above pic). 2 tea cups? Yes, one for me and one for hub!
Got to finish my packing and settle some paperwork before leaving Malaysia. Now, where did I put my pearl necklace?
